Why use Beet?

01

Smart PR Prioritization

Beet automatically scores incoming review requests. Teammate PRs and direct review requests float to the top; drafts, stale branches, and already-approved PRs stay out of your way.

02

Always at hand in your menu bar

Check unread counts at a glance from your menu bar. Pop it open to triage quickly, or expand the main view when you're ready for focused reviews.

03

Quiet, battery-aware polling

Polling intervals adapt automatically—speeding up for active PRs and slowing down when you're on battery or hitting rate limits. Alerts are reserved for what matters: broken builds, dropped queues, and direct mentions.

Get set up in two minutes

  1. Download the app

Grab the latest .dmg and move Beet to your Applications folder. Because the build is currently unsigned, right-click the icon and choose Open the first time you launch it.

  2. Add your GitHub token

Generate a classic personal access token with standard read scopes (repo, read:org, read:user, user:email, notifications).

Your token is stored locally and communicates directly with GitHub. Fine-grained PATs are not supported yet.

  3. Focus on active repos

Beet automatically monitors repositories you've contributed to recently. Pin important projects or mute noisy ones to keep your feed clean.

Ditch the endless tab-refreshing.
